How are you folks feeling about the new way I've been drawing October, only drawing the features that are important to the expression? BECAUSE I LOVE IT, WHAT A SPOOKY CUTIE PIE
It does make October more alien and menacing. I like it!
Spooky cutie pie indeed! I wouldn't mind having a tiny October to cuddle.
great comic, never read one like it and absolutely enjoying, hope you keep at it :-)
I know you've been playing with ambiguity the entire time you've been doing the comic. Took me a long time to gather that all the demon buggers are Taylor's mental manifestations of the corporation that Taylor has escaped from...at least I think so. Not sure whether that corporation is also named "October" or not?
And that they're all morphing in/out/from the central demon figure, who here is morphing around the same form as the wolf-demon outside the door.
And, at this point at least, THAT monsta is also ambiguously 1. real, or 2. a swamp-voodoo fabrication, or 3. an alter-demon of October's own making.
(I liked the panel where Ziggy's croc-buddy was trying to tell the wolfmonsta that Taylor did not equal food!...but the wolf didn't listen to the croc....)
Of course, what October is telling Taylor here could in fact be true - that she can ultimately be controlled like a puppet by October...all part of the ambiguity you've been maintaining very nicely throughout! :^]
@John Andre Butler: Haha kind of.... maybe I'm just recycling character designs.
@Larkie: Or taylor read your comic and Saturday adopted a form she would be sympathetic to from her memories. You so meta.
